Emily’s career in commercial real estate began unexpectedly in 2008. Still in college at the University of Southern California and knee deep in a pre-law program, an opportunity fell into her lap to be mentored in commercial transactions. Already weary of the long and arduous path to law, she knew immediately that brokering deals complimented both her skills and personality and that her clients would reap the benefits of that. While completing her double major in English in Political Science, she aced her testing and took an internship at Corporate Realty Associates, a boutique commercial real estate firm in Beverly Hills, specializing in office and industrial Tenant Representation. She learned the ins and outs of tenant transactions from site selections, favoring tenant lease terms and the relationship skills necessary to build an unparalleled client roster. After her graduation in 2009 she took on clients of her own and rose quickly to the top of her game, negotiating large office and industrial leases for major anchor tenants like CBS Radio, Consolidated Electrical Distributors and Apria Healthcare. Wanting to expand her experience and knowledge, she transitioned into the retail sector of the industry, representing landlords and developers with BRC Advisors in Beverly Hills. During her time there, she was instrumental in getting major projects off the ground floor and bringing new life to a still old-school LA market; most notably the Platform in Culver City and the popular Beverly Drive strip in the heart of Beverly Hills. Brokering deals on the other side gave her in-depth experience in evaluating market conditions and a chance to learn about the intricacies of “match-making” spaces with tenants for the benefit of both parties.Emily has returned to commercial real estate tenant and developer representation with a renewed and stronger passion. She brings to the table a deep understanding of economic, political and real-life conditions that contribute to successful transaction. Emily is an innate problem solver and understands the dynamics of brokering deals to keep them on track and deliver results. She is excited to build a community in this fast growing Arizona market.
