As a graduate student at North Carolina State University, I designed syllabi for and taught fiction and nonfiction writing classes to undergraduate students.

The Jewish Women's Archive is an online feminist historical archive that gathers and celebrates stories of Jewish women from the past and today. As the social media manager, I shared and promoted these stories on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I also regularly contributed to JWA's blog, Jewish Women, Amplified, with pieces about feminism, women's rights, history, and literature.

I regularly contributed reviews of history books to the Christian Science Monitor's Books section.

At Find MBA, I researched and wrote two to three articles per month about trends in the business education industry, on topics including biotech, big data and business analytics, start-ups, international business, and business programs in a variety of countries. I interviewed officials at schools around the world to stay up-to-date on the trends in this field, as well as uploaded, managed and promoted content on the website.

At LL.M. Guide, I wrote approximately two articles per month about the LL.M. degree: how students can make this degree work for them, why students choose to pursue this degree, and the different kinds of LL.M.s available to students around the world. I interviewed directors, professors and students at these schools about topics such as tax law, the U.S. Bar Exam, and the effect of Brexit on international law programs. I also uploaded and promoted my articles, many of which garnered thousands of page views.

I worked as a correspondent at the Boston Globe, covering local issues in Arlington, Lexington and Belmont for the paper's West section. I wrote approximately four articles per month on topics ranging from education to politics to local business and development. I also wrote weekly news briefs to keep the communities up to date on upcoming events.

During my time at GateHouse Media, I served as the staff reporter for four different towns. From 2011 to 2012, I worked for the Needham Times. I wrote breaking news and feature stories about local schools, small businesses, town government and human interest for a weekly newspaper with a circulation of 11,000. I also wrote weekly police logs and produced story packages that included photo and video. I was also responsible for maintaining the Needham Times blog, uploading content to the website and promoting the newspaper using Facebook and Twitter. From 2012 to February 2013, I served as staff reporter for the Watertown TAB, covering police issues, small businesses, development and education in Watertown, Mass. I also contributed two articles per week to the Cambridge Chronicle, America's oldest weekly newspaper. I attended public meetings, requested governmental documents, and met with community members to produce articles about development, human interest, and education. From February 2013 through June 2013, I wrote six to eight articles per week for the Somerville Journal, a weekly newspaper covering politics, education, arts events, transportation issues and development in Somerville, Mass. I maintained relationships with local officials, including the mayor, attended public meetings, met with community members, and covered breaking news in this community. I promoted my work and kept in contact with the community using Twitter, Facebook and other new media tools. I also reported from Watertown during the manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect in April 2013.

At Bay Windows, New England's largest LGBT publication, I researched and wrote several articles per month about issues affecting the LGBT community, as well as features and human interest stories. I wrote about topics ranging from the repeal of DOMA to the Indigo Girls.

At the South End News, I conceived, researched, and wrote hard news and feature stories about education issues, the economy, crime, and neighborhood events in a historic Boston neighborhood undergoing extreme gentrification.

During my undergraduate career at Boston University, I held a tutoring position at the school's writing center, which entailed reviewing freshman seminar research papers to help younger students improve their syntax, organization and ideas.

During my time as an intern at the Financial Times in London, I fact-checked and proofread articles about high-end British culture. I also conceived, researched, and wrote articles for the weekend magazine's "Information" column, which parses statistical information; its "First Person" column, which spotlights someone with an interesting life story; and its "Defining Moments" column, which highlights a pivotal historical moment.
