I have been designing in-person and digital experiences for a more than decade, applying research insights to product and service service challenges though a strategic, systems-oriented lens.Clients range from asset managers to restaurant chains to community development coalitions to global cosmetic brands. I returned in 2019 from a year in Uganda, East Africa, consulting for social impact organizations. I also coordinated a weekly pop-up food pantry with a reentry group in Southwest Philadelphia from March-December 2020. My role focused on forging partnerships with nearly a dozen animal welfare groups and retailers to circulate pet supplies and resources to vulnerable pet owners.As a former writer and editor, my written work has appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Magazine and the Washington Post.I’m also a PA-certified Master Gardener through Penn State University as of 2022.http://www.emcallaghan.com/
