Leading the implementation of a multi-year strategy plan for Distribution and Transportation Services strategic projects valuing 20-40 Million annually in value generation. The primary focus is fostering a culture conducive to the success of rolling out D&T strategic initiatives that optimize our network, encompassing over 20 regional Distribution Campuses and 2000+ associates. They are responsible to manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, deliver cost savings, enhance operational efficiency, and enable seamless supply chain operation.

To provide analysis and assistance in planning and organizing projects that impact or enhance the department; to monitor all department schedules so as to ensure that projects are completed on or before projected completion dates; collects and analyzes all necessary data including financial and performance Indicators, for resolution of problems, issues and concerns affecting the department.

• Lead, strategize, and execute top priority initiatives by managing and guiding a cross-functional team through the product development process to market launch in Agile and Waterfall environments• Communicate and present ongoing project updates and recommendations across key stakeholders and senior executive teams• Complete work as part of the Cross-Portfolio team to add structure, training, process, and Agile practices to our product development operating model.

Focus on Strategic Planning and Project Management 1. Develop and apply structured business strategies and quality management that supports long-term business challenges, recommendations, and solutions2. Support Sr. Leadership in providing vision, future direction, development, and administration of strategic planningprogram and the associated traceability throughout FedEx Freight3. Support the annual strategy program assessment and performance measurement system assessments with associated goal setting requirements4. Ensure performance measurement systems appropriately align to strategic objectives/initiatives5. Manage appropriate reporting and communication on strategic objectives to ensure that key initiatives are fullysupported through tactical plans and business operations6. Work collaboratively with other functions and disciplines to provide appropriate subject matter expertise on business capabilities and statistical analysis of performance measurement systems to continuously identify process improvement opportunities7. Support Sr. Leadership in the development and monitoring activities of business cases for strategic initiatives8. Partner with people in cross operating companies on strategic projects and corporate initiatives as assigned ensuring objectives of assigned projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters9. Apply structured business models and diagrams for the capture and creation of cohesive and integrated views of FedEx Freight Processes10. Build and maintain solid relationships with management and business process owners throughout FedEx Freight and the FedEx organization11. Compile necessary information from various functional areas to provide periodic performance reports and updates12. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures13. Perform other duties as required
