As a current chemical engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University, I am fully committed to using my skills and knowledge to positively impact the industry. With my experience in working with and teaching children, I have gained a strong understanding of the importance of proper communication and leadership. I am also dependable while working independently and within a team. Throughout my education, I have achieved several awards, including the Chemical Engineering Faculty Award. This achievement shows my dedication to my major and the hard work I put into achieving my goals. During the school year, I continue to be involved in the engineering campus community through being a Frosh leader during orientation for the upcoming first-year engineering students. For my third year at TMU, I also hold the title of Co-VP of Communications for the TMU Chemical Engineering Course Union. Here, I have been grateful to help organize as well as promote various academic and social events for students. I am also an avid member of Engplay, an engineering theatre club, which allows me to boost my creativity and keep a detail-oriented mindset throughout my STEM courses. As an enthusiastic chemical engineering student, I am excited to interact with other professionals and continue working towards a co-op placement.
