To get this internship opportunity I won a dragon’s den business case competition, run by Global China Connection. I presented my research and recommendations to a panel of judges who selected me for this internship.My main project for Tourism New Zealand was working with China’s leading online travel agency - Qyer, to create a strategic and collaboarative online marketing campaign that promotes NZ outdoor experiences appropriate for the Chinese market. Hosting international student delegations to New Zealand.Throughout the year I have helped to organize the marketing, selection, language classes, and travel logistics for two groups of students going on internship programmes in China and Thailand. One of four comissioned mosaics installed in the overseas terminal on Clyde Quay Warf had been painted over. A colleague and I were employed to research appropriate products, then carry out the full restoration of this work without harming the tiles or grout trapped underneath the paint. The restored work now sits in the new Clyde Quay building, as an installation designed by Athfield Architects.
