I have recently completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Minor in Business Administration on May 4, 2012 at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. As part of my undergraduate curriculum I was fortunate to participate in a 5 year, 18 month Cooperative Education Program. This program gave me the opportunity to explore different fields and from this experience, as well as my time spent in classes, I know I want to pursue a career in the field of supply chain and logistics. Because of my previous customer service jobs as well my passion for solving problems and finding optimum solutions, I know I will be a great fit for this position. The Northeastern University Co-op Program gave me the opportunity to work at Boston Beer Company in Boston, MA where I have gained analytical experience in a team environment. I was responsible for assisting with weekly forecasts, performing cost saving analyses, creating POs to send to suppliers, and assisting sales personnel with orders and shipment tracking. I have also had the chance to work at Blinds to Go where I was able to use more of my technical skills. During my time at Blinds to Go I worked on multiple projects which focused on minimizing fabric waste as well as cost. In order to reach this goal, I implemented a new way to cut the fabric, calculated optimum roll sizes, and organized fabric remnants for easier access. I believe that the analytical, technical and non-technical skills that I learned while a part of these two different companies has provided me with great experience.
