Emily J. Curray is managing partner at Stern & Curray LLC, a global immigration law firm in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Curray’s practice encompasses all aspects of business immigration. She represents employers and employees in myriad fields including renewable energy, scientific research, education, the ski industry, information technology and engineering, among other. Ms. Curray counsels employers and employees on navigating the complex U.S. immigration laws, including how to obtain the necessary visas and immigration documentation to bring foreign talent to the U.S., and ensuring compliance with I-9 laws. Her success with difficult immigration matters and work on immigration legislation contributed to her selection by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2009 in the field of immigration and Super Lawyers in 2010. She has served on the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) National Liaison Committee to USCIS Headquarters, as Chair of AILA’s Colorado Chapter, and on AILA’s National Committee on Family Immigration. Currently, she chairs the Immigration Task Force of the Colorado Lawyers Committee and serves on AILA’s USCIS liaison committee with the Denver field office. She has spoken widely on immigration matters. Ms. Curray is a member of the Board of Directors of the New America School and Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
