Emily is the Artistic Executive Director of Bygone Theatre, a registered charity that she has run for the past ten years. She is experienced as a freelance theatre producer, designer and stage manager, and has worked with companies such as Crow's Theatre and Tarragon Theatre in Toronto.Emily has worked as a production coordinator for a feature horror film, and for a short-run tv series. Recently, she completed work as a researcher on "The Torso Killer Confessions", a true crime 2-parter with Cineflix. She also created props for the show, and has done design and set dressing for film. Most recently, Emily founded Era Entertainment, a new media company which currently has two documentaries in development; The Common Sense Revolution (about the failures of Ontario's Disability Support Program, ODSP); and an unnamed but authorized Wayne & Shuster documentary about the Canadian comedy legends.Emily specializes in telling stories that focus on the intimate, often secretive side of life.
