Hello! I'm Emily Bess, a creative human with a wide variety of experience and expansive skill sets. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and minor in Photography. My work was featured in SVSU's Winter 2019 Student Art Show, as well as SVSU's Winter 2021 Student Art Show, in which I was awarded the Juror's Choice Award.  I have been a freelance designer since 2012, and a professional designer since 2018.  I found my natural talent for graphic design when I was looking for something beyond my web design degree path. I love working with HTML and CSS, but I discovered my true passion aligns closer to graphic design and visual design as a whole. I love working with a team and independently on projects, and constantly look for opportunities to grow as an artist. I put 110% into my work and collaborate with my clients to ensure my work soars beyond their expectations. In the next few years, I aspire to learn more about UI design, motion design, packaging design, and video editing.When I'm away from my desk, I love to spend time outdoors walking nature trails with my camera, spending time with my husband and our two rabbits (Loki + Mochi), sipping on cold brew, and playing video games.
