Emily leads marketing and communications for Founders Forum Group, a global community and group of businesses supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their journeys. Her remit spans FF Group ventures, including professional services tailored to scaling tech companies; Founders Forum events; Tech Nation, the formerly government-funded growth platform for UK tech scaleups; and London Tech Week, a joint venture between Informa Tech and Founders Forum. Originally from Toronto, Emily launched her career at Edelman Canada, delivering digitally integrated crisis management strategies for multinational corporations and building influencer-driven social media campaigns across the Yum! and Pernod Ricard brand portfolios. In 2017, she segued in-house to D2C scaleup, Ollie Quinn, where she led marketing across the UK and North America. Following this, Emily launched three brands for luxury events company, This is Beyond, including a private members’ club for high-end travel’s C-Suite, centred around a bespoke social networking platform she led to market. Since joining FF Group in early 2022, Emily has rebranded the organisation to reflect its global relevance and mission to empower founders via connections, services, insights, advocacy, and access to capital.In 2022, she managed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s holographic address at Founders Forum Global, which raised $1 million in humanitarian aid for Ukraine via Sunflower Relief. The event was broadcast simultaneously to six leading European tech festivals and marked the first-ever wartime address given by a world leader via hologram.She holds an Honours BA with Distinction in Politics from Queens University, Canada.
