In this role, I was responsible for a number of corporate communications pieces. My experience included:- Authoring letters to Congress on behalf of the company to advocate for a more coordinated approach to fighting the opioid epidemic.- Writing press releases, media alerts and media pitches to support CareSource business objectives.- Designing and curating content for high-profile presentations.

I gave walking tours of campus to visitors and answered any questions students and parents had while visiting.

As a Corporate Communications Associate at CareSource, I was exposed to various projects in the Corporate Communications and Marketing departments.Highlights-Managed engagement on social media accounts, including responding to consumer questions, comments and complaints.-Ghostwrote member testimonials and blog posts for the company webpage.-Worked within state regulations to create content to be distributed to members and providers.-Provided support to executives with the creation of board meeting presentations.

As a social media intern, I created daily posts for the company on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+. Highlights-Competed in and won a local social media competition hosted by the Dayton Business Journal.-Achieved historic viewership on a blog on social media tips.-Wrote two blogs on B2B marketing and social media.

As a Communications Intern for two consecutive summers, I was responsible for a variety of projects within the Corporate Communications department.Highlights-Created daily social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, GooglePlus, and Pinterest.-Wrote two press releases as well as an article for the company intranet and blog posts.-Designed and created a banner used as a brainstorming template for board members.-Researched and tested social media tools included Sprout Social, Buffer, and True Social Metrics.-Summarized new business strategies to create a page presented to the CEO and Board.-Aided in the writing of new company vision and mission statements.
