I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a BA in psychology and minor in studio art. Within the field of psychology I am interested in child development, more so the biological, psychological and emotional changes that occur as a child matures with age. During my college experience I volunteered at Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital in a position that assisted the nursing staff pre- and post-operation. This experience, specifically, has increased my interests in child development and mental health. I recently graduated from Wichita State University (online) and received my MA in Criminal Justice. I chose this path to take me into forensics where I can apply my psychology based knowledge along with my criminal justice background. In regards to my minor in studio art, I enjoy all forms and types of art, but more specifically drawing and printmaking. I am knowledgeable in photoshop and Lightroom, with the strong ability to learn other adobe products. I enjoy making and designing pieces and the strategy and thought processes behind art.I would love to apply my psychology background to working with youth/children in the forensic area. I have a strong passion for kids and improving a child's health and well-being. I would also like to apply my art background in a way that is beneficial to others while creating a positive learning space.
