The mission of the National Investment Banking Association, Inc. (NIBA) is to add value to its members, issuing companies and investors, and the securities industry at large, by continuing to be the premier forum for quality micro-cap/small-cap companies seeking access and exposure to the financial community in connection with their capital formation, and other financial objectives. NIBA Events provide private and public companies, regardless of size or industry, a unique platform to present their stories/needs to our vast network of Registered Investment Advisors, Private Equity Groups, Family Offices, Investment Bankers, Broker Dealers, Boutique Corp. Finance, Specialized Investment Brokerages, Venture Capital Groups, Financing Partners, Market Makers and market professionals, all experienced within the capital markets.As Executive Director, Emily actively collaborates with the Board of Directors, Members, and Industry Partners to achieve the goals and mission of NIBA. She works extensively with companies to coordinate their presentations at all conferences and to assist with their follow-up during and after all meetings, allowing for maximum exposure to the broker dealer community. Works to develop new marketing techniques which utilize the Internet, viral marketing, social media and significant industry assets and resources provided by the Association. Responsible for effectively and efficiently executing successful events. Engages our investment community to drive membership and increased event participation and sponsorship. Manages all aspects of events (registration, hotel, food, beverage and catering, sponsorship, presentations, educational panels/speakers, and temporary and/or part-time event staff.
