I spent 8 years as a mathematics specialist working with and understanding students with behavioral, educational, or other specific needs who fell below state standard benchmarks. I collected and tracked data over yearly time periods, and cross-curricularly. I was promoted to teach a classroom position during COVID upon request at Warren Community Elementary School teaching mathematics and science virtually to over 30 sixth grade students. When we returned to a hybrid model I was responsible for instructing in-person and remote students concurrently. I then accepted a 5th grade classroom position at West Brookfield Elementary school where I taught math and science to both 5th grade classes for two consecutive years where I introduced my previous methods of benchmark data collection for tracking student growth.As a certified Level 2 CrossFit Coach at Ardor Fitness and CrossFit I am responsible for safely and effectively optimizing athlete performances. I guide classes with the widest range clients in terms of age, experience, and ability in a safe and encouraging environment. Making sure classes run within the time frame while managing up to 20 adults and teens while analyzing performance points and giving productive feedback is a strength of mine. I am consistently responsible for new client acquisition with my ability to connect genuinely and encourage each member to improve their overall achievement. As the only regular coach who is not one of the two owners, I am continually trusted as a representative of the company name.Having worked at Baba Sushi & Hotpot for 4 years, I am trained in all positions within the company. I am responsible for whichever role on the team I am fulfilling on that day. I am responsible for training new staff to waitressing, takeout, bussing, delivery, and hostessing. Every position requires me to adjust quickly in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment with the presence and attitude to make sure every guest has the best possible experience. I am the go-to person for communicating with our kitchen staff who are not fluent in English and have built a report with each member despite not speaking each other's respective languages.
