I am a professional puzzle solver. I have always had a hard time walking away from a jigsaw, and I can become consumed by a frustrating problem that seems near impossible to solve - until BAM! That satisfaction and sense of accomplishment is intoxicating. This challenge and drive led me to learn software engineering, which is a career I love more and more as my skillset continues to grow.A self-proclaimed gym rat, you can find me on the CrossFit Open leaderboard. I love growing my own fitness while being able to cheer on all my everyday heroes and community members, and my idea of vacation includes seeing how many new places I can workout.Speaking of vacation, I am a big fan of travel. Seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, tasting new flavors! My favorite way to experience a new place is on foot: I don't want to miss the architecture, sounds, and smells. The list of places on my Travel To Do list far exceeds the small number of places I could skip entirely (although I could likely still be convinced by friends or family).I love to learn new things. I get some sense of accomplishment from my career, but I am a multifaceted woman with a large appetite! House improvements and projects, physical skills, professional development, news articles, stimulating conversations (especially with multiple or opposing points of view!), or building something new - it all appeals to me and gives me a wide breadth of ways to quell my insatiable curiosity.I find balance in the out-of-doors. My soul medicine includes hiking up the beautiful Colorado mountain peaks that make up my backyard and trail running down them, camping, pursuing big game, and soaking in the sun and seasons.I am a proud dog-mom, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend.
