Programme management for the Collections department at the Science Museum. Leading the team of exhibition curators.

Manager of the temporary exhibition programme (of up to 12 exhibitions annually) at the Jewish Museum New York, including: Marc-Camille Chaimowicz: your place or mine? (2017)Chaim Soutine: Flesh (2018)with the Centre Pompidou, Chagall, Lissitzky, Malevich: the Russian Avant-Garde in Vitebsk (2018); Martha Rosler: Irrespective (2018);And with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Montreal: Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything (2019). I also worked on the delivery of the six new permanent galleries showcasing the museum collection, which opened in January 2018.

I managed all aspects of the running of the Huguenot Museum, reporting to the Board of Trustees. I lead the team of two staff and twenty volunteers and was curator for the historic collections of the French Hospital (est. 1718). Specifically, my achievements in this role included:• building the Huguenot Museum’s three year strategy for 2016-2019 and developing the first acquisition policy;• curating and developing partnerships for the Museum’s programme of exhibitions and events for 2016-17 including Huguenot Silk: Canterbury and Catwalk with loans from Alexander McQueen and Canterbury Museums; a partnership with the Migration Museum Project on 100 Images of Migration and Exodus, a project with young refugees working with the British Red Cross;• operational management and with the Chair, reviewing governance - working on a skills audit of the Board and recruitment of new Trustees.

Curator for the development phase of the Heritage Lottery Funded £7 million capital development project at the Garden Museum.Other tasks included:curating the exhibition Cosmic Landscapes: the Land Art of Charles Jencks;• commissioning and introducing a new collections management system and documentation policy and plan;• researching and fundraising for new acquisitions including a photograph album by the garden designer Gertrude Jekyll and a Repton Red Book for Sundridge Park, securing funds from NHMF, Art Fund, V&A Purchase Grant Fund and Friends of the National Libraries.

Curator responsible for The Holocaust Exhibition and Crimes Against Humanity exhibitions at the Imperial War Museum in London, specific tasks included: • acquiring Holocaust-related material for the collection and arranging its display; • co-ordinating loans from twenty international lenders;• curating two Google Cultural Institute exhibitions on the liberation of Bergen-Belsen concentration camp and the Kindertransport, and developing films for the IWM website using film and sound archives.As Research Officer, I also worked on activities in support of the Imperial War Museum’s research strategy, which included:• the role of project manager/researcher on Whose remembrance?: an AHRC-sponsored scoping study investigating the story of the peoples of the British Empire during the two world wars, IWM’s first research project as an IRO (independent research organisation). • managing the research blog; coordinating research training; assisting on research funding applications; acting as departmental delegate budget holder and line manager of the Research Administrator.
