CurrentMy main role within the Human Resources department is administering employee leave. This involves, but is not limited to:- Maintaining records and documentation related to employee leave plans.- Overseeing FMLA cases.- Managing the leave pool and communicating with the leave pool committee as cases arise.- Coordinating with payroll.- Assisting employees with leave planning.- Ensuring compliance with leave policies.- Running monthly leave accruals.As Director of Institutional Research, I:- Complete regulatory reports, such as those for the SC Commission on Higher Education and IPEDS.- Collaborate cross-departmentally to complete other surveys, such as those for U.S. News & World Report, Peterson’s, the Institute of International Education, College Board, and CUPA-HR.- Serve other departments by providing them with data or helping them find efficient ways to organize and turn their own data into useful information.- Extract data from Colleague using Informer, pull data from other reports, combine data from multiple sources, perform data validations to check for accuracy, communicate issues to the appropriate departments, and collaborate with Campus Technology as needed.- Assist with other special projects.
