Four of my most recent grants brought in over $200,000. My fundraising and outreach work has brought together private-public partnerships, including the San Francisco Parks Alliance, the S.F. Department of Public Works, S.F. Public Utilities Commission, UCSF, Kaiser Permanente, and CalTrans. I have also been an invited speaker and mentor for many community, gardening or educationally focused groups. Community OrganizerBesides enjoying gardening, I also love to build community. Our organization is hundreds of volunteers strong, and I conduct educational outreach, lead our monthly volunteer days, and have led an internship program at the gardens for SF City College. I also organize community events (funded by public or private partners!) that have ranged in scope from a Health and Wellness Block Party to a Community Clean Up Day.
