I was responsible for a cabin of 12 girls for 4 weeks where I had to mediate conflict between campers and fellow staff members. Additionally, I was responsible for keeping campers safe in the cabin and at the activities I worked at which included tennis, waterskiing, Zumba, and rifelry. Prior to campers arriving, I participated in a training week where I learned valuable skills regarding active listening, open communication, conflict resolution, and recognizing signs of sexual predators and the appropriate course of action.

As a hostess at House 406, I was at the front to greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression. Part of my job was to answer phone calls from patrons and answer any questions, book reservations, or place carry-out orders. Additionally, I assisted other staff by running meals from the kitchen and bussing and resetting tables as needed. Through balancing these responsabilities in a busy environment, I improved by ability to communicate clearly and professionally and my ability to multi-task.
