I am a very dedicated Pre-K teacher with 2 years of direct experience. My academic goals are to graduate with my Bachelor’s degree in business and management from the University of Nevada, Reno. After I graduate, I plan on staying close to my little ones but I want to own and manage my own daycare. I decided to pursue a career in this field because I’ve found over the years working with kids is fulfilling and I’m passionate about positivity impacting young children’s life’s.In my role as an Preschool Teacher, I specialize in the following services:1. Communicating effectively to parents regarding strengths and weakness throughout their child’s day, keeping them updated on their current academic skills, behavior, daily habits, and accomplishments. As well as communicating with the children throughout they day, and understanding what they are trying to tell me wether that is in words or actions.2. Lead a classroom, and effectively direct a group of 3-4 year olds through activities testing and practicing their fine motor skills, and academic based learning.3. Making sure every student is not only safe but comfortable and excited to come to school every day.4. Help manage young children’s emotions by caring for and encouraging expressing emotions in a positive and effective way.5. Making sure every child knows they are loved, they always have someone to talk to and that someone is proud of their very special accomplishments. Outside of work, I enjoy camping at Lahontan Reservoir in the summer with my family and friends. We like to wakeboard, wake surf, air chair and pretty much anything we can pull behind our boat! In the winter months I stay active by snowboarding but I mainly focus on giving back during the holiday months.
