• Designed and helped implement a coordinated strategy for elimination of malaria in Haiti by 2020 by directly advising the national malaria program.• Built relationships with key partners in the national government and within the $29M Gates-funded Malaria Zero consortium, including CDC and PAHO.• Created a surveillance manual, in collaboration with the NMCP, that established new national protocols, following a surveillance assessment that identified bottlenecks in detecting and reporting malaria infection.• Supported development of national strategic plan and detailed Global Fund concept note budget, leading to approval of $16M grant for 2016-2017.
