About Emily Hambly
Hello! My name is Emily (she/her). Currently, I am pursuing my passion for business, sales and marketing through my Bachelor of Commerce degree at the Smith School of Business. For 12 years, I was a competitive Irish dancer in both solo and team events rising from Canadian and North American stages to qualifying for and competing in, the World Championships across multiple years. Through this success, I developed a deep understanding of the critical role that teamwork, discipline and just plain hard work plays in achieving goals. I emerged a natural leader among my peers, leading our team to multiple North American titles. On my high school ski, volleyball and DECA teams, I learned the value of teamwork and communication. I have developed a hard-working mindset through 4 consecutive years of full-time summer employments, and adopted strong time-management skills through the balance of a part-time job throughout grades 9-11.
