Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

Athens, Ohio, United States

I was a teaching assistant for CHEM 1205, Survey of Chemistry Laboratory. This class covers basic concepts of general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. Each week, I prepared a pre-laboratory presentation that instructed students about chemical concepts regarding the experiment. I monitored the students to confirm that the procedure was being followed properly and to ensure their safety. Outside of the classroom, I graded their lab sheets and proctored and graded examinations.
