Hi! It is nice to meet you! I'm Emily! I'm currently a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in strategic communication and minoring in marketing, set to graduate in May 2025. As a passionate storyteller, I find myself driven by the opportunity to empower and share the stories of others through impactful communication strategies. Each voice and story has the chance to connect and inspire individuals and communities. Furthermore, I value authentic connection, community relations and inclusive communication. In my academic and professional endeavors, I strive to become well-rounded in all topics regarding public relations and communications. I currently possess experience with public relations campaigns, crisis communications, social media management, media relations and more. Within my campus community, I serve as the president of ODU PRSSA and the campaign manager of Her Campus ODU. In these roles, I'm responsible for bridging the gap between students, the ODU campus and local community through impactful events, campaigns and strategic messaging while simultaneously encouraging chapter growth and strengthening chapter reputation and awareness.
