Emily Hart Lopez is a professional dancer, actor, and educator based in NYC. She is a 2016 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Dance. Her work ranges from concert to company work, choreographing, latin dance, immersive theater, commercial work, and more. Credits include: Netflix (Umbrella Academy Season 4 Promo), Telemundo Upfronts, Gotham Dance Theater, Cirque du Nuit/Alterra Productions, Sonalee Vyas Dance Company, Rumbamena, NYLA, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Grace Kelly, Flint Rep, DPA Tour, ABC’s Dirty Dancing, NYC Bhangra, and more. Emily has taught for Arts Ignite (taught for them in India in 2018-now), Salgado Productions/Iconos Kids (current), Brooklyn Dance Lessons, Carter Burden Network (current), and Notes in Motion, Dancewave, SassClass NYC, Brooklyn Music School, The School at Columbia, ChoreoLounge, Roll America, and beyond. Emily has worked with all ages from assisting at The School at Steps toddler classes to teaching youth and adults domestically and internationally, guesting at dance studios and arts high schools, to teaching senior citizens. Emily's current passion is latin fusion, collaboration, and arts advocacy on the local to global scale.Outside of performing and teaching, Emily has experience in selling designer textile jewelry for Paz Sintes Jewelry, has past experience in the fitness and food service industry.Emily's skills range from client services, public speaking, public engagement, organization/scheduling, outreach, food and beverage service, hospitality, fitness, and more.Emily isn't afraid to get moving or pick up a new skill, and multi-tasking/attention to detail is her strength.
