Graphic And Web Designer
I have had the privilege to work with CrossFit 1080 from it's beginning and help them build the brand that they have grown into today. This began with creating the logo, Wordpress website, and creating an overall look and feel that then would be portrayed in any of our marketing collateral. With being the designer for a small business, I play a key role in any of the marketing projects that come up, including the following projects:- Digital and print ads- Social media (assisting in maintaining these sites along with advertising on them)- Flyers for events- Business cards- Signs- T-shirts- Website (original design and also managing the maintenance & updates)- Photography & VideographyOne of the main roles I have now is the brand manager. It is my responsibility to not only create designs that represent our core values, but to approve any project or retail item that has our logo in order to maintain consistent imagery across all aspects of our business.CrossFit 1080 has numerous events and campaigns that require branding, marketing, and advertising. I work directly with the owner or coach who is in charge of that event or campaign to create the logo, website, advertisements, flyers, retail items, or any other printed or digital assets they may need.
Graphic Design & Finishing Specialist
As the Graphic Design & Finishing Specialist at Dolan, I have had the opportunity to work on a large array of projects for both our internal marketing and our customers. I do design work, ranging from environmental design and large format signs, to packaging and marketing collateral, for our customers and also consult with our sales team regarding substrate and finishing options for new or potential projects.Another responsibility was the creation of our Idea Center. The goal was to create a room where people could walk in and be inspired to think beyond what they believed was possible in the print world. I was able to apply my knowledge that I gained from working with Esko on the wide range of substrates that are available for our customers and create a wide range of pieces that highlight Dolan's capabilities. By working in a production setting with a wide range of projects and quick turn arounds that come across my desk, I feel I have grown as an employee in my time management and organizational skills. One of the more rewarding parts of my job is working directly with the customer from the start of a project and seeing it through from concept to design to production.
Marketing Coordinator - Digital Finishing
After a couple years at Esko, I was promoted to Marketing Coordinator for our Digital Finishing department. I was still responsible for our marketing collateral including brochures, e-mail blasts, magazine and digital advertisement and any trade show advertising and direct mail pieces we created. I was also still responsible for assisting with the organization of our trade shows by helping during the show along with creating successful files to print and cut on our digital finishing systems during the show as hand outs. This promotion gave me the ability to work with partners whose relationships that were already established along with building new partnerships with companies to help promote both of our products. I also had the ability to work closely with customers to assist in any design needs they may have had after purchasing a table.
