I designed community engagement programs to educate the public on services associated with Mississippi Public Broadcasting. I built a curriculum around a workforce development initiative with partners across the state in the public and private sectors and created content relevant to Mississippi’s workforce needs and barriers. I managed aspects of public health initiatives, including planning and coordinating outreach events, working with a design team to develop collateral, facilitating meetings and presentations, and establishing private and public partnerships to help achieve MPB Education Division goals. I also wrote grants for multiple projects and managed multi-million dollar budgets and met compliance requirements.

I recruited employees internationally and domestically, including the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of 150+ new and returning seasonal employees each year. I prepared and reviewed contracts and other legal documents and built and implemented a training curriculum for a diverse global staff from over 18 countries and 25 US states. I also designed and launched a sustaining leadership training program for teens; created original promotional videos and creative assets using the full Adobe design suite; and managed social media, website, and blog content. As an ARC-certified Lifeguard Instructor, I taught American Red Cross courses to certify lifeguards and acted as a NOLS Certified Wilderness First Responder to mitigate risk and respond in crisis situations.
