Responsible for managing program delivery for the region, ensuring recipients are supported in achieving their individual goals by offering a continuum of program services including training, supported employment, support services and recreation activities. Accountable to the Regional Director of SaskAbilities to ensure that all activities related to program services delivery in this department of 50+ employees are consistent with the agency's policies and procedures.

Provide day to day supervision for the staff at Partners in Employment to ensure that the obligations of the contract(s) and the needs of the clients and participants are met. Work with individuals with varying abilities, employers and businesses, community organizations, and governmental organizations to provide supported employment assistance to job seekers and employers. In this position, I directly supervise approximately 20 staff. Work with other supervisors and staff at the Saskatchewan Abilities Council in a team environment.

In this role, I was responsible for assisting clients with various barriers develop their pre-employment skills. This included facilitating interview classes, resume development workshops and instructing clients on how to apply for jobs online. I also taught communications and life skills classes to individuals looking to move into competitive employment, and undertook public speaking engagements in the community to bring awareness to the mandate and goals of the Saskatchewan Abilties Council.
