Hi! My name is Emily and I just graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in mathematics. I have been involved in many projects during my undergraduate degree. One of these projects was an improvement on endoscopy pills which I presented to faculty and industry professionals. I won first place in the design competition against other engineering designs from a variety of disciplines. During my undergraduate career, I interned at Gift of Life, a bone marrow registry. My role was to inform my peers on campus about the impact of this organization and the many lives it saves, as well as recruit them to join the registry.
