Serving as a trusted advisor to the Director as he develops and implements strategic plans, approving Partners' annual budgets, being informed of, and meeting all, legal and fiduciary responsibilities. Assisting the Director and board chair in identifying and recruiting other Board Members, partnering with the Director and other board members to ensure that board resolutions are carried out, and acting as an ambassador for the organization.

Served as director of the Birdhouse, a radical community arts space. I curated art shows, scheduled music performances as well as private events, coordinated with volunteers, oversaw daily operations of the center. Additionally, I raised funds, established plans for long-term financial sustainability and accountability, coordinated with tenants renting art studios, publicized events, and created and maintained a website for the center.

Read and edited poetry, worked with authors to create book covers.

Managing the daily operations of a refugee training center which provided courses in English, computer training, and civics. Supervising and interacting with teachers, recruiting, training, and overseeing 100+ volunteers. Teaching in volunteer training seminars. Planned and implemented staff meetings and building renovations.
