My name is Emily Byrum and I am a PhD student at Vanderbilt University in the Interdisciplinary Materials Science Program. I have completed courses in Organic Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Electrodynamics, Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Quantum Chemistry and Macromolecular Synthesis. During my time at Arizona State University I was a member the Vernon Lab, Chen Lab, Carbon and Nitrogen Dynamics Lab, and the Innovation in Conversation lab. Beyond lab experience I have held Community Assistant and tutoring positions at Arizona State University. During the summer season I have worked at multiple summer camps across the United States, including three different management positions.
