About Emily Friedel

I am a Doctor of Philosophy (Psychology) candidate with an interest in how female-specific aspects of puberty influence individuals with ADHD, including how these aspects of puberty might affect their mental health and brain development. Alongside my research, I advocate for better practices in ADHD research and scientific research more generally so that marginalised groups can have more say in research, especially when it affects them.
