Key responsibilities include identifying and developing strategic partnerships, representing Tostan at local events, supporting training and curriculum development, and assisting with proposal writing and donor engagement. I work closely with the Partnerships team, and other departments to advance Tostan's community empowerment programs and strategic goals in West Africa, with a particular focus on The Gambia.

The Mbife Foundation is a nongovernmental organisation, registered in The Gambia which aims to meet the critical need of increasing literacy and access to books for youth and children in The Gambia.Our current project: The Mbife Children's Community Library

I started my publishing house Mbifebooks which focuses on writing and publishing inclusive picture books which celebrate the West African Diaspora voices and experiences.

At Luminos I led in the development of an accelerated learning curriculum and program to enable out of school children a second chance at an education by providing foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
