Emily Jourdan spent the first 15 years of her career in marketing and sales for large corporations in the entertainment & media fields as well as for government entities in the international development space. She has lived and worked overseas many times and speaks Spanish fluently. After taking a break to help a family member successfully launch a small business, she discovered that she possessed great skill and talent in knowing what protocols, flows and strategies were needed to develop and market a small business in any given field. In recent years, she has used this business acumen to consult for small businesses ranging from the financial services industry to luxury window coverings. During her tenure in this role, Ms. Jourdan has helped small business owners take next steps in their journey to increased profitability and success.With a Masters in (International) Business from Thunderbird (MBA) and a background in strategic organizational management, Ms. Jourdan has a proven ability to problem solve. Additionally, she has honed her gift for creating and growing effective internal systems while simultaneously developing and implementing incremental roadmaps to future success in any business discipline. Her Hockaday education and undergraduate degree in Journalism from SMU have afforded Ms. Jourdan a solid base for excellent writing skills. During her 30-year career, she has developed ads, written tag lines, created marketing pieces and designed brochures as well as other marketing materials. Her well-curated list of contacts allows her clients to benefit from other areas of expertise, if needed.
