In 2017, in partnership with colleagues from the SMHFA National Training Team, I developed a Mental Health Ambassadors Peer Education Project for senior secondary school pupils. This is an innovative programme enabling senior pupils to raise the profile of mental health and wellbeing in their school, challenge stigma around mental health, and support their peers and younger pupils. We deliver the programme to local authority and independent schools in Scotland.

I have 20 years' experience as a Russian to English translator. I am currently focusing on my training and tutoring services, but am still available for occasional translation work. My experience includes:Since 2016 – International Labour Organization, translating country reports on compliance with ILO Conventions2008-2022 – translator for a leading Russian bank (annual financial and sustainability reports, business presentations, press releases). I also translated several books on economics, banking and business for the bank's president. 2008-2012 – Working with a number of translation agencies, I translated hundreds of documents for high-profile court cases.2007-2015 – International Finance Corporation (IFC - World Bank), translator and English language editor for energy efficiency and renewable energy programmes 2007-2012 – European Human Rights Advocacy Centre 2005-2010 – DRUM Resources Ltd (British risk management consultancy)2005 – Six-month full-time contract as translator and editor for RIA Novosti, Moscow 2006-2008 – British Council public administration project2003-2005 – translator for the DfID-funded Knowledge for Action in HIV/AIDS programme

I became a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor for NHS Health Scotland in 2016. I delivered numerous mental health first aid courses to a diverse range of audiences, including private sector managers and employees, health and social care workers, prison officers, teachers, university staff, and third sector volunteers and staff.My clients included: Tesco, Aviva, Edinburgh University, The Open University, Perth College UHI, the Scottish Prison Service, The Prince’s Trust, Perth & Kinross Council, Edinburgh Council, Midlothian Council, the Scottish Council of Independent Schools, MH Scot Workplace Wellbeing, and Health in Mind (Edinburgh).
