About Emily Kasriel
I have evolved the Deep Listening approach to enable people to engage more meaningfully and truly understand others, especially when they disagree. It's guided by curiosity, empathy and respect. I work with leaders to enhance their effectiveness and foster a listening environment in their organisations and beyond, and collaborate with communities where Deep Listening is needed most, those facing pressures from polarisation and social fractures. My goal is to help create a world where Deep Listening is widely practiced, that recognises people’s right to be truly heard. I am an experienced media executive who has led a range of high-profile projects for the BBC, running arts, religion ideas departments as well as reporting and producing from five continents. I'm currently writing a book about Deep Listening for HarperCollins US and UK, researching the field as a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London Policy Institute. I'm a practicing and accredited Executive Coach with a decade of experience coaching leaders and an accredited workplace mediator. I was previously a Senior Adviser to the Skoll Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and a Visiting Fellow at Said Business School at the University of Oxford. I write for a number of major publications and chair a wide range of panels, events and interviews around the world.More - EmilyKasriel.com
