My role allows the site to function efficiently by helping with registration, bus routes, scheduling, communication, and various office tasks. I work mostly independently, usually multi-tasking in order to serve two childcare sites and more than 100 families.

For several months I served as a teacher for employees who were ill or needed time off, helping in classrooms of varying age levels and abilities. I helped teaching math, language arts, reading, spelling, health, library, and music. Through this experience, I broadened my teaching abilities and became more adept at solving common classroom problems. I had to maintain flexibility and be adaptable to new lesson plans and classroom rules.

I helped run the French department at George Fox. I did office jobs such as copying and typing, but also helped with organizing projects and planning for upcoming events. I had weekly 20 minute conversations with students in French and offered tutoring.
