- Support state and local level advocacy efforts throughout ACC’s Southern region (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, & Puerto Rico). Lead advocacy in both Oklahoma and Arkansas. - Engage in direct advocacy activities and represent ACC before legislative and regulatory bodies in our region. - Responsible for identifying and analyzing state legislation and regulatory agency activities affecting the business of chemistry. - Work to build and maintain strong partnerships with industry trade groups, allied associations, public policy organizations, and other stakeholders to support advocacy efforts across the South. - Additionally serve as Director of Government Affairs for the Georgia Chemistry Council.

- Registered Lobbyist for the Georgia Beverage Association. - Tracked and monitored legislation impacting the non-alcoholic beverage industry throughout the legislative process. - Maintained online tracking database of legislation and planned and executed social media strategy.- Produced both weekly and monthly e-newsletters, as well as event invitations and news briefs.- Coordinated events for members of the General Assembly. - Gained valuable knowledge of trade associations and lobbying at the state level.

- Created content, designed graphics, and monitored social media profiles for multiple clients, both political and non-political. - Clients included: political campaign pages, education advocacy pages, business pages, and state party caucus pages. - Assembled comprehensive monthly social media reports for clients detailing the successes and reach of their page(s).- Gained experience in messaging and advertising.

- Worked on day-to-day projects for multiple clients alongside a team of fellow interns. - Processed fundraising information on databases, spoke to donors on the phone, worked and photographed campaign events, completed over 2,000 dials for candidates.- Gained experience dealing with political candidates, research analysis, donor relations, and campaign finance.

- Attended numerous meet-and-greets, forums, and meetings alongside Mr. Wiedower.- Grassroots Activism: distributed campaign materials, canvassed.- Represented Mr. Wiedower at events throughout his district.
