An ambitious and personable graduate from Durham University, seeking a practical and challenging application for the communicative skills garnered through an English Literature and History degree. Completing a joint honours degree allowed me to refine interdisciplinary skills; through my studies in English Literature, I developed a keen interest in language and linguistics, honing an analytical approach to communication which I now aim to deploy practically in publishing, personal relations, or editorial work. Meanwhile, undertaking studies under the History department sharpened my research capacities as my work specialised in analysis of alternative archives and cultural history, something I hope to continue through archival work.Beyond academics, my time at Durham nurtured my personal interests in politics, the arts, and fitness, frequently attending live music events, art workshops, student theatre, and current affairs societies.
