Leading a small staff at one of Charlotte, NC’s largest bakeries taught me advanced problem-solving skills, large-scale planning and attention to detail. While here, I implemented a revised training program, processed and ordered weekly inventory and tracked ongoing sales.

As the associate teacher for a primary-class of 16 three to four year olds, I led children through the classroom and school ground while cultivating their curiosity for the world. At this Reggio-Emilia school, I led hands-on lessons, supervised activities and worked individually with children to understand key concepts.

Oxnard, Ca

Working for a small education-based non-profit on a tall ship means filling many roles. Half the week I worked as the only Grant Writer and Fundraiser, contacting donors, leading campaigns, planning fundraisers and writing grants. On sail days, I served as a deckhand and educator for marine-based education modules. Our target student groups came from inner-city Southern California. Additionally, I managed fundraising including a major gala and silent auction, wrote and managed grants for the small non-profit. I also created marketing materials, mass emails to volunteers, and press releases.
