I am a current doctorate student pursuing my Ed.D. in Community Care and Counseling - Traumatology, where I have reached the ABD phase of the program. My research interests are focused on the study of female sexual dysfunction and its subsequent impacts on varying areas of functioning. I obtained my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and am licensed as an LPC in Ohio and an LPCA in Kentucky. I am trained in EMDR, CPT, and DBT and am currently completing my Sex Therapy Certification with the goal of becoming AASECT certified. I have a BMDS degree in biology, health promotion, and human services from West Virginia University and a graduate certificate in military resilience from Liberty University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, groups, and couples. I own a group practice, Aligning Intimacy, specializing in trauma, relationship, and sex therapy, serving clients throughout Ohio and Kentucky. The mission of Aligning Intimacy is to provide sex-positive, trauma-informed care for individuals and partners that promote sustained sexual, emotional, and relational healing.
