Emily is focused in fundraising, women's leadership, and the fine arts and is currently the Director of Donor Relations and the Annual Fund at the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford. Emily leads annual funding for the center and directs donor relations, in addition to working closely with the Haas National Advisory Board. Previously, she worked for 14 years with leading fine art galleries in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles as a sales director and program manager. Emily earned a Masters Degree in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute, with a specialty in the photography market, a Bachelors Degree in History from Providence College, and a graduate certificate from UC Berkeley's Higher Education Administration and Student Services program. She served in a development volunteer capacity for a number of non-profit organizations including the Headlands Center for the Arts, Artadia: the Fund for Art and Dialogue, and SF Camerawork, and now serves on the board of Oasis for Girls in San Francisco. Emily is passionate about equitable outcomes in higher education, as well as promoting women's leadership through work-family justice.
