I performed data quality analysis on various data files based on business tax returns and rebates in order to create a file for delivery to Government clients. I have been a member of several working groups ranging from employee onboarding strategies to data quality standards to testing potential software options. I was also the 2016 co-coordinator of our branch charitable campaign (approximately 350 people) where I planned events, strategized fundraising efforts, and managed progress.I was the social committee chair in my directorate of 135 people where I worked closely with our management team to create opportunities for employee engagement.

Instead of creating a standard report on the time I spent in this position, I created a presentation outlining the importance of hiring students. I covered this from the employer, student, and economy perspectives. I delivered the presentation to various audiences including the management team at work and a group of new/prospective co-op students at the University of Ottawa.

I aided in the development of the new private sector, trade and development sector at DFATD (now GAC). With my educational experience, my role was to advise on the creation of private sector and trade-based development policy. My two main tasks were to prepare briefing notes and summaries of activities/research in the area to senior management, as well as, assist in quantifying "Aid for Trade" trends and its effects on developing economies. During this time I also did research on small and medium enterprises with relation to economic growth, trade, and development. This research included attending lectures by various private companies and think-tanks, meeting with personnel from other agencies, and individual research online and in print.
