My name is Emily Lanxton and I am a Senior at Auburn University majoring in Marketing. I have always been an extremely motivated and outgoing individual, which has led me to pursue a career in marketing and sales. I have strong interests in digital marketing, specifically consumer relationship management. I also have a strong passion for sales after spending my summer as an outside sales intern for Altria.Spending summer 2024 as an outside sales intern has allowed me to get hands on experience in an exciting industry and apply what I have learned in the real world. I have gained many new skills during my time as an intern, including experience in platforms such as Salesforce and PowerBI, as well as soft skills such as time management, relationship building, analytical skills, communication, and marketing and sales strategy. Overall, my time at Auburn and time as a sales intern has shaped me both professionally and personally, and I am excited to apply what I have learned in a career in marketing or sales.
