Each year, a number of Davidson seniors are selected to serve as Senior Admission Fellows. Senior Fellows function as adjunct members of the Davidson Admission Staff. In addition to being trained to give individual information sessions to prospective students and their families, fellows learn about the admission process of selective schools such as Davidson College. Beyond being educated in admission and financial aid procedures, fellows take on special projects in a particular area of interest, which they work on year round.

Houston, Texas Area

The Education Intern assists the Director of Education in producing the World Affairs Council of Houston’s Education Programs. The intern helps develop comprehensive programs for students and teachers on international relations by researching topics and planning Global Perspective Workshops for Educators' hosted by the council. The intern works within the Education Department to compile a comprehensive booklet of resources for the Houston-area educators attending these 4-5 hour Saturday workshops. The intern will also create lesson plans, applicable to Texas TEKS standards, so educators have convenient and thorough resources by which to bring these important topics into their classrooms.
