Senior East Coast Philanthropy Officer
CurrentI support the major gifts program by managing a portfolio of about 150 donors and prospects, focusing on contributions at the mid-tier and major donor levels. I take an active role in engaging donors and building strong, long-term relationships that connect their interests to AFT’s mission: protecting farmland, promoting sound farming practices, and keeping farmers on the land.In my role, I:● Find and connect with new donors who are committed to the AFT mission.● Hold meaningful conversations with donors and stakeholders to understand their goals and interests.● Write clear and engaging materials to communicate AFT’s work.● Organize cultivation and stewardship events and visits to showcase our mission and impact.● Work closely with my team to grow support for AFT in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.● Develop comprehensive strategies for unrestricted, restricted, matching, and planned giving support.I am dedicated to stewarding the donors while stewarding the land. No Farms, No Food, No Future.
