I conducted research and looked at relationships in NDA’s student data utilizing spreadsheets such as country + retention rate, applied academic level + retention rate, country of residence + advertising source, etc. I also did research on upcoming interior design awards and generated a calendar of my findings. The research portion of my internship also entailed looking at competitors and their social media presence and engagement.I assisted with social media platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. I evaluated the NDAs Instagram and engagement rates comparing it to that of its competitors. I made recommendations to increase engagement and handled influencer outreach. I created weekly Pinterest boards to accompany blog posts and was able to increase engagement by a substantial amount. My main project was to help optimize the NDA’s YouTube channel and included creating a new banner, changing the titles of videos to be more cohesive, creating cohesive thumbnails, adding end cards, and rewriting descriptions that included time stamps, links to social media, and key words.
