The National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) is America’s leading national civil rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer+, and same-gender loving (LGBTQ+/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS through coalition building, federal policy change, research, and education. Our mission is to end racism, homophobia, transphobia, and LGBTQ+/SGL bias, discrimiantion, and stigma.As Special Projects Manager, I support the work of the Executive Director and Director of Public Policy and Programs, draft communication for the organization such as our monthly newsletter and copy for our website, support the development of events including the Black Institute, OUT on the Hill, and the Wisdom and James Baldwin Legacy Awards, and support our internship program.
