Effectively led the public and media relations strategy and work implementation, allowing the CLE Host Committee to achieve one of its primary goals for RNC hosting: telling Cleveland’s revitalization stories to national and international audiences to help change Cleveland’s narrative. Devised and directed the development process for story idea and expert source playbooks to facilitate local, national and international media’s promotion of Cleveland. Resulting in 424 unique stories and over 3,000 placements about Cleveland and its revitalization.Engaged 32-person volunteer Visiting Media Committee, comprised of area PR professionals, to ensure community buy-in and identify opportunities for further collaboration and support.Provided ongoing reputation, strategy and communications counsel to Committee officers and leadership.Served as spokesperson with regional, national and international media; primary liaison to GOP press team.

As an account manager overseeing two of the agency’s top 20 clients, I developed communication strategies and supervised program implementation to deliver objective-based results. With a schedule that involved more than 30 percent travel to represent clients at trade shows and update national media through desk-side briefings / events, I collaborated with colleagues to efficiently deliver creative solutions that were on-time and on- or under- budget.
